Fragrant stir fried lamb

May 31, 2015 Hannah Pemberton

New ways with lamb.

I’m fairly new to cooking lamb Chinese style at home. Beef and chicken are my go-to meats of choice for stir fries, but lamb makes a tasty change, especially with white pepper and fresh coriander root.

Seared lamb leg and herb salad

May 5, 2014 Hannah Pemberton

Thrifty lamb leg steaks make a delicious meal.

It’s there I discovered my addiction for proper homemade tzatziki, how amazingly grassy Greek extra virgin olive oil can be, and the joy that is real, locally made feta cheese. Between that, the weather and the landscape it’s a wonder I made it home.

Sun-dried tomato sous vide lamb shoulder with a warm giant cous cous salad

April 28, 2013 Hannah Pemberton

Summer in a bowl.

You can make many a tasty meal from this thrifty cut. Lamb shoulder is traditionally reserved for the slow cooker, casserole pot or a slow oven roast, where after several hours cooking the meat falls apart beautifully, thereby lending itself to wintery meals and comfort food.
