Ham and herb rolls

February 15, 2015 Hannah Pemberton

High on protein, light on carbs.

As you can probably tell from my twitter feed and recipes, I’m not a member of the no carb crew. In fact, after reading recently that our brains can’t produce serotonin without them I tucked in to a loaf of bread with abandon and rejoiced that carbs it seems, do actually make you happy.

Chorizo sausage rolls with honey

January 4, 2014 Hannah Pemberton

One last hurrah.

I realise many folk will feel this is perhaps the worst time ever for me to blog these naughty delights, but... in my world, January doesn’t really, properly kick off until the first full week of work. And that means as far as I’m concerned, we’re all free to scoff with abandon until Monday. Or that’s what I’m telling myself anyway.

Italian style meatloaf and rich tomato sauce

December 22, 2013 Hannah Pemberton

June 8, 2013 Hannah Pemberton

No BBQ is be complete without ribs. Fact.

And having now tried the sous vide variety I think I could be facing a new food addiction. Move over noodles.

Braised Thai belly pork with crispy crackling

June 2, 2013 Hannah Pemberton

Thailand is a magical place.

I’ve many great memories from my visits there over the last 10 years. Of course I love the sunshine, white beaches and crazy but laid back vibe, but it’s the food that holds the biggest draw.

Vietnamese BBQ pork kebabs with nuoc cham dipping sauce

August 27, 2012 Hannah Pemberton

These little pork kebabs are a BBQ must.

Cheap to make, incredibly juicy, full of asian flavour and very easy to put together. Make more of them than you think you’ll need - I promise you they’ll all be scoffed.
